  1. Step 1: See what is missing

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Website & SEO

"Search readiness" counts how many of seven things your site has, like a description, a preview image and your address. The ones about your address, phone and hours are filled in on Studio settings.

  2. Step 2: Write your site description

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Website & SEO

In "Search appearance", write a "Site description" of up to 160 characters: what you teach and where. "Google preview" shows roughly how it looks in search results. Click the card's "Save".

  3. Step 3: Add a link preview image

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Website & SEO

In "Link preview image", upload the picture shown when someone shares a link to your site. 1200 x 630 pixels works best. Click "Save".

  4. Step 4: Add your social profiles

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Website & SEO

In "Social profiles", paste the links to your Instagram, Facebook and other pages and click "Save". They appear as icons in your site's footer.

  5. Step 5: Title each page

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Website & SEO

In "Page titles and descriptions", give each page a "Title" (up to 70 characters) and a "Description" (up to 160). Search engines show these for that page. Click "Save".
