Use your own domain

  1. Step 1: See your address today

    In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Studio

    In "Platform", "Web address" is where your site is now. "Custom domain" shows your own domain once it is connected, and "None" until then.

  2. Step 2: Be on a paid plan

    In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Plan & Billing

    Your own domain needs a paid plan, whatever your studio's size. The free plan keeps your studiomomo.app address.

  3. Step 3: Ask StudioMomo to connect it

    There is no field in the admin for this: StudioMomo connects your domain for you. Email [email protected] with the domain you own. You keep it where you bought it.

    StudioMomo either gets access to your domain's DNS settings from you, or sends you the exact records to add there. Your site then opens at www. and your domain, and the address without www. sends visitors there. It is usually working within a few hours.

  4. Step 4: Check it

    In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Studio

    Once it is connected, "Custom domain" shows it, and anyone who goes to your old studiomomo.app address is sent to your own domain.
