Before you start

This needs Sales Analytics switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: Pick a period

In the admin menu: Money, then Sales Analytics

Choose a "Period", like "Last 30 days" or "Last month", or type your own dates in "From" and "To". Every figure is compared with the same length of time just before it, and the dates it is compared with are shown next to the period.

  2. Step 2: Read the tiles

In the admin menu: Money, then Sales Analytics

"Net revenue" is what you sold, less refunds that went through. A refund counts against the month of the sale, not the month you gave it. "Sales" counts every sale, refunded or not, and "Average sale" is net revenue divided by that count. "First-time buyers" are people whose first purchase ever falls inside the period; door sales at the Event Desk are not counted.

"Recurring / month" and "Cancelling" are different: they show what your memberships bill right now, read from Stripe (refreshed every few minutes), whatever period you picked.

Net revenue does not include a membership's monthly renewals, only its first payment. Read "Recurring / month" for those.

  3. Step 3: See where the money came from

In the admin menu: Money, then Sales Analytics

"Where the money came from" splits the period by kind of sale: memberships, class packs, events, private lessons, rentals and retail. "Top products" lists your ten best sellers, and "New vs returning" shows how much came from first-time buyers.
