Before you start
This needs Private Lessons and Private Lesson Scheduling switched on. An admin turns them on in Settings, under Features.
Step 1: Find the student
In the admin menu: Front desk, then Private Lessons, then Schedule
Under "Client", type a name, email or phone number and pick the student. Not on file yet? "New client" adds them and carries on with the booking.
Step 2: Choose the pack and the instructor
In the admin menu: Front desk, then Private Lessons, then Schedule
Under "Pack and instructor", the student's pack is chosen for you when only one can pay; if more than one can, choose one under "Which pack pays for this?". Each pack says who may teach it.
When only one instructor may teach that pack, they are chosen for you. When several may, choose one under "Who teaches it?" before picking a time.
If the student has no pack that can pay, an admin can click "Sell a pack" to sell one without losing the booking. Front desk staff are asked to have an admin sell one from the student's page.

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Private Lessons, then Schedule
"Date and time" shows the instructor's open days for the month; pick one to see its start times, or click "First opening" to jump to the soonest.
If the instructor has not published their hours, every time the studio is open is shown, so check with them first. Times drawn dashed are outside their hours, and you can still book them.
Step 4: Confirm the booking
In the admin menu: Front desk, then Private Lessons, then Schedule
Add a "Note for the instructor" if you like; the student never sees it. Click "Confirm booking".
The lesson is booked at once and one session is held on the pack: it is used when the lesson happens, and given back if the studio cancels. The student is emailed a confirmation, and the instructor is emailed too unless they booked it themselves.
"Book another" starts again. Admins also get "See all bookings", which opens that week's private lessons.
