Answer questions about the Couples Special

Write the answers buyers see before getting your New Student pass for two, so they stop emailing to ask how it works.

Before you start

This needs Couples Special switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: See what buyers see

    The Couples Special card on your Prices page has a "Questions about buying for two?" button. It opens a short list of questions and answers. Until you change them, these are the default answers: who needs a pack, paying for both, keeping it a surprise, coming to different classes, checking in, and buying at the studio. They show your New Student pass's own price and class count, and are translated for each visitor.

    The partner form has an "It's a surprise" box. When the buyer ticks it, the partner is not emailed about their card; the buyer still gets their receipt.

    Signed in as an admin, you see the card even if you have already had the New Student pass, so you can check it. You can edit the answers from there too: open "Questions about buying for two?" and click "Edit these answers". Only admins see that button.

  2. Step 2: Write your own answers

    In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Couples Special

    Under "Questions about buying for two", change any question or answer, add one with "Add a question" (up to eight), reorder them with the arrows, or remove one. Click "Save". Your answers are shown exactly as you write them, in every language, so mention prices only if you will keep them up to date.

  3. Step 3: Go back to the defaults

    In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Couples Special

    Click "Use the default answers" to drop your own list. The defaults come back, priced from your New Student pass and translated again.
