Before you start

This needs Ad Analytics switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: Get your Google Ads connected

The page reads your ad spend from Google Ads, and there is no button to connect it yourself: email [email protected] and StudioMomo sets it up. Until then the figures stay at zero.

  2. Step 2: Read the figures

In the admin menu: Aatma only, then Ad Analytics

Pick "7d", "30d", "90d" or "Custom". "Total Ad Spend" is what Google Ads charged in that time. "New Customers" are people whose first purchase that came from an ad click falls in it. A student who bought before without an ad and later buys through one counts too, so treat it as a ceiling. "Cost per Customer" is spend divided by those customers.

"Total Revenue" is everything those customers have ever spent with you, not only in the period, so "Return on Ad Spend" is the most flattering way to read it.

  3. Step 3: Look at each campaign

In the admin menu: Aatma only, then Ad Analytics

"Campaign Performance" lists each Google Ads campaign with its spend, customers and revenue. Click a row to see who those customers are. "Tracking Verification" shows whether your site is recording which ad a buyer came from.
