Before you start

This needs Series switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: Create the series

In the admin menu: Schedule, then Series

Click "Create Series". Under "Course", choose the "Class" it teaches and give it a "Series Name", like 4-Week Salsa Intensive.

Under "Schedule", set the "Start Date", "Number of Sessions", "Start Time" and "End Time". Use "Edit dates" to "Skip" a week off; the end date moves out on its own. "Enrollment closes" is the last day a place can be bought.

Choose the "Instructor" and "Room", then click "Create Series".

  2. Step 2: Put its dates on the schedule

In the admin menu: Schedule, then Series

On the series, click "Add sessions to the schedule". Every date is added, or none are: if a date clashes with something already there, StudioMomo lists the clash and adds nothing.

  3. Step 3: Put it on sale

In the admin menu: Schedule, then Series

Click "Sell this series". A class card opens with the series already filled in; enter its price under "4. What does it cost?" and click "Create class card". This form needs a screen larger than a phone.

Students buy that class card from your prices page. There is no limit on how many are sold, so watch your numbers against the room.

  4. Step 4: Change a date, or retire the series

In the admin menu: Schedule, then Series

Once its dates are on the schedule, editing the series does not change them. Change or cancel a single date on the Calendar instead.

To retire a finished series, open it, switch off "Active" and click "Save Changes". A series whose dates are on the schedule cannot be deleted.
