Before you start

This needs Prices switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: Connect Stripe first

Students pay online through Stripe. You can create passes before Stripe is connected, but nobody can buy them online until it is.

    Read Get paid online
  2. Step 2: Start a class card or a membership

In the admin menu: Catalogue, then Passes & Packages

Choose the "Class Cards" or "Memberships" tab, then click "Add Class Card" or "Add Membership". A class card is a set number of classes bought once, like ten classes. A membership renews every month until the student cancels.

The form needs a screen larger than a phone.

  3. Step 3: Answer the four questions

In the admin menu: Catalogue, then Passes & Packages

Give it a "Name", like 10-class card. "1. What does it open?" is "All classes" unless it should only cover some styles, levels or classes.

"2. How many classes?" decides what you are making. A number of classes "total" makes a class card. "Unlimited", or a number "per billing cycle", makes a membership.

"3. How long is it good for?" is how many days a class card lasts from purchase; a membership runs until it is cancelled. "4. What does it cost?" is the price, paid once for a card or every month for a membership. Memberships are always billed monthly.

Click "Create class card" or "Create membership".

  4. Step 4: Choose where it is sold

In the admin menu: Catalogue, then Passes & Packages

Each pass in the list has two switches. "Public site" shows it on your public prices page, and "Quickdesk" offers it at the front desk. Both start switched on.

  5. Step 5: Check what students see

Students buy from your public prices page, which shows while "Prices" is switched on in Features. Memberships show there too, unless "Memberships" is switched off.
