Before you start

This needs Attendance switched on. An admin turns it on in Settings, under Features.

  1. Step 1: Browse the week

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Attendance

The screen shows a week of classes, day by day, with the week's "Sign-ins" and "Fill rate" at the top. Use the arrows or "Today" to move between weeks.

Click a class to open its roster: who is under "Attendees", and when each checked in.

  2. Step 2: Add someone to a class

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Attendance

In the class, type into "Add attendee" and click "Add" next to the person. It uses their membership or one credit, like a check-in at the desk, and works for past classes too. It is not held to your check-in window. A full class takes no more.

For a quick add without opening a class, click "Add walk-in", find the person, and pick one of the coming classes.

  3. Step 3: When they have nothing to pay with

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Attendance

Added from the class, someone with no pass that covers it gets a choice. Pick a "Class card" and what they "Paid with", then click the sell button; or click "Comp this visit" to let them in free. Card payments go through Quickdesk.

From "Add walk-in" the only choice offered is a free comp.

Read Sell at the front desk
  4. Step 4: Check in people who reserved

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Attendance

With reservations on, "Expected" lists who reserved and has not arrived. "Paid", "Member" and "Has credit" can go straight in; "Collect payment" means take payment first. Click "Check in" when they arrive.

The bin next to a reservation cancels it once you confirm "Cancel reservation". A credit it took goes back if it is still valid.

  5. Step 5: Remove a mistake

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Attendance

Click the bin on an attendee's row, then "Remove". Their check-in is deleted and any credit it used goes back.
