Give staff a login and a role

Let your front desk, instructors and other admins sign in to the admin, each seeing what their job needs.

  1. Step 1: Know the roles

An Admin sees everything, including settings and payments. Front Desk sees the day-to-day screens: Quickdesk, attendance, clients and the desks. An Instructor sees only their own teaching screens, such as their timesheet, where those features are on. A Customer is a student, with no admin at all.

  2. Step 2: For an instructor, send an invitation

A teacher is invited from their instructor record, which makes them an Instructor and links their login to that record in one step.

  3. Step 3: For anyone else, have them sign up first

Front desk staff and other admins start by creating an account on your studio's website, the same way a student does. Every new account starts as a Customer.

  4. Step 4: Change their role

In the admin menu: Front desk, then Clients

Find the person in your clients and open them. In the Role & Access card, choose their new role and click "Save". Only an admin sees that card.

If it says "No login account yet", they have not signed up with the email on their client record. Ask them to sign up with that email.

StudioMomo will not let you remove your own admin role, or remove the last admin of your studio.
