Step 1: Know where Free ends
In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Plan & Billing
Free is a real plan, not a trial: it keeps class packs, memberships and online payments, with no limit on students. It is for studios taking up to $1,000 a month in sales, counted as an average over the last three months. Above that, StudioMomo will ask you to move to a paid plan.
StudioMomo takes no cut of your sales on any plan, which is what "0% platform fee" means at the top of the page. Stripe's own card fees still apply.
Your own domain (yourstudio.com instead of a StudioMomo address) needs a paid plan at any size.

In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Plan & Billing
Choose "Monthly" or "Annual · save 2 months", then click "Subscribe to Essential" ($59 a month) or "Subscribe to Pro" ($149 a month). You pay on Stripe's own checkout page, and come back here when it is done.
Essential switches on Email Marketing, Rentals and couples checkout for you. Pro adds automated emails, and timesheets and payroll for your instructors.
Someone else paying, like a business partner? "Copy shareable payment link" copies a link to the same checkout for your studio. It works for about 14 days.
Step 3: Change your card, switch plans, or cancel
In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Plan & Billing
Once you are on a paid plan, the page shows the plan, whether it is billed monthly or annually, and the date it renews. Click "Manage billing" to open Stripe's billing page, where you update your card, switch plans or cancel.
A cancelled plan runs to the end of what you paid for; the badge then reads "Cancels at period end". After that your studio is on Free, and the features the plan switched on go off, even if you had turned them on yourself. Your data stays. Email Marketing and Rentals are also switches on the Features page, so you can turn them back on; the free plan then limits Email Marketing to announcements.
If a payment fails the badge reads "Payment past due". Update your card through "Manage billing".
Step 4: If your plan is managed by StudioMomo
In the admin menu: Setup & help, then Settings, then Plan & Billing
A studio on an arranged rate sees "Managed by StudioMomo" instead of the plans. Email [email protected] for any change.
